This week we had a volunteer group from Dell Computers come out to give our Memory Garden a new look. We recently lost a dear friend of Ronald McDonald House Charities and as we grieve her loss, we remember all the great ways she supported RMHC and the families and children we serve.
One of her many contributions was our Memory Garden consisting of stones with names engraved on them in memory of those children who have passed. If a family suffers the loss of their child, we offer to have a small stone engraved and placed in our Memory Garden. Over the years, we’ve seen many families return for a brief moment in our Memory Garden with their child’s stone. We continue to remember those children who have passed and honor their families with this garden.
Thank you to the volunteers that helped to refresh this small serene space dedicated to remembering those children and their families who will forever be a part of our RMHC family.

It is a special place that many folks don’t realize is even there…but to those who have a tribute to their child, it’s a beautiful spot to pause and reflect. Thanks very much to all the Dell team who helped revitalize this area of our beautiful garden. Thanks for spotlighting it, Derrick.
Derrick – thanks for your thoughts about our memory garden. I’m so proud we have this place for families to come and remember their child who is no longer with them.
